Parenting is hard. It can feel overwhelming, stressful, and lonely, especially when being a parent doesn't look the way you expected it to. Sometimes it helps to have somebody on your side to see your situation with fresh eyes, help you set goals, or introduce you to a new approach. What if you had time set aside to focus on your potential as a parent? Maybe you could discover a different path toward who you want to be as a parent and start walking down it.
Being an educator can be intense and stressful. Students come to us with diverse needs and a range of experiences. Some of us find ourselves in very difficult positions and it seems that the training and experiences that we had did not prepare us to respond with calm confidence. It's hard to find time to keep up on the latest research or the energy to try a new approach. Educator training can help to reconnect with your why and bring out your natural strengths.
While our individual experiences vary, there are themes that tend to arise. There are many helpful resources that can inform the creation of our own personal approaches. We all need to continue learning and thinking about different ideas and approaches, especially when what we are doing isn't having the resalts that we are hoping for. There are plenty of audiobooks, podcasts, people to follow on Instagram, or articles to read that can help inform our mindset.
